From the firm established by French couturier Jeanne Lanvin comes Eclat d' Arpege, a soft floral fragrance. Eclat d' Arpege is woven of lemon leaves and lilac, with a delicate heart of peach blossom and wisteria. A cool note of green tea enlivens the mélange. The subtle base chord is blended of whispery musk and sweet amber. The effect is ethereal; enigmatic as the first tendrils of dawn on a Parisian morning in May. Eclat d' Arpege is presented in the firm's classic Art Deco, ball-shaped flacon, or boule noire. Artist Paul Iribe's 1927 image of Jeanne Lanvin and her daughter dressing for a ball is stamped on the glass.
